China shares are trading higher as activity in China's manufacturing sector expanded in September to hit a six-month high. The Shanghai Composite Index added 0.60% to 2,204 on Sept. 21 in morning trading. The HSBC China manufacturing purchasing managers' index for September came in at 51.2, after 50.1 in August. A reading above 50 signals expansion, according to Proactive Investors of Australia.
