William Hague Foreign Secretary said last week he was “committed to driving down barriers to trade” at a UK-Israel tech collaboration event this week.

The event, at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, orchestrated by the UK Israel Tech Hub and the British Embassy in Israel, was attended by a select group of business figures.

Annual bilateral trade exceeds US$3 billion and over 300 known Israeli companies are operating in Britain.

UK Foreign Secretary William Hague called UK-Israel science and business ties "one of the cornerstones of the relationship between Britain and Israel.
