The Qatari-Saudi Joint Coordination Council have discussed a series of bilateral issues, including the possibility of exempting Qatar from a ban imposed by Saudi Arabia on export of some products.
The proposal assumes significance in the context of a supply shortfall in the local market following the Saudi ban on export of several agricultural and poultry products. The two sides also agreed to form a technical team to study the issue and propose the appropriate solutions.
Both parties expressed their satisfaction at the level of military cooperation between the two countries.
