Vietnam and China boost border trade.
Vietnam's northern Ha Giang province and China's southern province of Yunnan have signed an agreement on cross-border bilateral economic links.
Under the agreement, both provinces will enhance bilateral economic cooperation and expand trade in each market as well as boost socio-cultural exchanges.
Cross-border bilateral trade stood at US$400 million last year and US$86 million in the first five months of 2014.
