Cambodian and Vietnamese senior officials and business executives met today to explore possibilities to broaden bilateral ties and cooperation in economics, trade and tourism.

The 4th Cambodia-Vietnam Conference on Investment Promotion was co-chaired by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and visiting Vietnamese Premier Nguyen Tan Dung at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh.

"The conference is vital to seeking new opportunities to expand and strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and will further enhance the living conditions of both sides' peoples," Hun Sen said.

Vietnam is the fifth biggest investor in Cambodia, with 128 projects worth over 3 billion U.S. dollars by 2013.
