A French company is bringing 294 jobs to Glasgow, as it seeks to meet the growing international demand for its services. Management services company Webhelp TSC is also creating 30 jobs in Kilmarnock and 76 in Larbert near Falkirk - a total of 400 new jobs. The jobs will be recruited in a two-year rolling programme that has already begun, with 50 new employees aged 18-24 already having been recruited – some of whom the First Minister met this morning on a visit to the firm's Atlantic Quay base in Glasgow, where the jobs were announced. First Minister Alex Salmond has described the employment boost as "further proof of the attractiveness of Scotland's workforce to foreign investors" and "yet another example of Scotland's increasing success in attracting inward investment".
