The United States and Mongolia  signed an Agreement on Transparency in Matters Related to International Trade and Investment.

The agreement, among other things, provides for the publishing of Mongolia’s laws and regulations in English, which will make it easier for U.S. and other foreign enterprises to do business and invest in Mongolia.

U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman said “This agreement represents an important milestone in the U.S.- Mongolia trade relationship,”  setting forth mutual commitments on transparency will help to improve and deepen the U.S.-Mongolia relationship and benefit both countries’ economies and businesses.
